Collective Worship
Here at Tardebigge, Collective Worship is often described as the beating heart of our school life. It gives us a special time each day where the whole school community can come together – to pause, reflect, share ideas, ask big questions, and respond to one another and to God.
In our school, we want Collective Worship to be inclusive, invitational and inspiring. That means every child and adult is welcomed to join in, encouraged to reflect in their own way, and hopefully leave feeling uplifted and thoughtful.
Collective Worship at Tardebigge gives everyone an opportunity to develop spiritually, personally and academically. They are able to develop their Biblical knowledge, reflect on the message of different Bible stories, worship, pray and learn how to live out our core Christian values enabling them to grow and shine and live a ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10).
Most importantly, Collective Worship is about helping everyone – children and adults alike – to grow and flourish spiritually. That’s why it has a place at the heart of every school day here at Tardebigge.
It is well planned and of high quality so that the whole school community is engaged on a journey of discovery, exploring the teachings of Jesus and the Bible.

Collective Worship Team
Our Collective Worship Team is made up of children from Year 3 and Year 4. They work together to present Collective Worship to the school every Thursday afternoon. The team use drama, music and narrative to re-tell the Bible stories.
