At Tardebigge we believe that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of learning and personal development, whatever their age, ability and circumstances. We promote active learning outside as much as possible and believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop an inquisitive and positive relationship with our natural world. To achieve our aims we offer a welcoming and safe environment for all youngsters, teachers and parents to help raise confidence, self-esteem and respect in preparation for an ever changing world.
Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.

Our children enjoy leading the learning in our Forest School site by exploring their environment, splashing in puddles, swinging on the swing, building shelters, observing the wildlife, responsibly using tools and enjoying the warmth of a fire. Forest School fosters the social, emotional, moral and spiritual development of all learners.
