Welcome to our Curriculum page.
Central to our philosophy is that “Human potential is without limit if we are motived and engaged”. At Tardebigge we place the Christian ethos at the core of all our curriculum and learning. We recognise that our pupils have different abilities, some can read well, some can run fast and there are those that just make your day! Here at Tardebigge in our endeavour to achieve high standards we try to recognise each one. Our vision for Tardebigge is that it is an efficient and effective learning community with high expectations of its staff, pupils and parents. We endeavour to provide a broad and balanced, creative curriculum that promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, social and physical development of all our pupils. This prepares the pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of lifelong learning. Our curriculum does not remain static; we recognise the need to be responsive to changes in society, the local community, change in the economy and changes in the nature of schooling itself. Our teachers recognise the need to reappraise their teaching methods in response to the changing needs of their pupils.
Throughout our curriculum we have a real sense of a growth mindset and follow the Chris Quigley approach to teaching. Click on the links below to learn more.
