Wow! Can you believe it? A whole term has been and gone! And what a term it has been. As I mentioned in the homework pack letter sent home last week, we are really proud of each child and their progress this term. We have really enjoyed the year so far and are looking forward to next term already!
We have enjoyed lots of different festivities this week including KS2's Christmas Play and writing about the Nativity Story from the viewpoint of the innkeeper. The children produced amazing work as usual! On Party Day we had some special visitors... the CCTV revealed elves had left us some candy canes and later on Father Christmas turned up to give us a special early Christmas present.
There is no set homework (Phonics, Maths or Education City) over the holidays but please do continue to read with your child over the next couple of weeks. Please also make use of the homework packs we sent home last week as these will help consolidate what we have learnt this term and set us up well for 2017. Take a picture of your Christmas studying and teampoints will be awarded!
Finally, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Stay safe and see you all in 2017! We return to school on Wednesday 4th January for our new topic!
